OEM & wholesale questions

The things buyers ask us before the first order. If something is not covered here, email us and we will answer it straight.

Custom manufacturing (OEM / ODM)

Can you make a product to my own drawing?

Yes — that is most of what we do. Send a sketch, a dimensioned drawing, CAD, STEP or a 3D file. We reply with a quote, then make a physical prototype for your approval before any production run. If a detail is not manufacturable in solid wood we will say so upfront rather than discover it later.

Can I send you a sample to copy? (来样定制)

Yes, and it is the fastest way to start. Post us the piece — your own prototype, or something you already buy elsewhere. We measure it, match the timber and hardware, and send back a made sample so you can compare them side by side. You are not describing what you want; you are handing it over.

Do you engrave our company logo?

Yes, on the product, the insert card or the outer carton — your choice. Send AI, EPS, SVG or a high-resolution PNG. Because we engrave with laser there is no plate to make, so there is no setup or tooling fee at any quantity.

What exactly can be changed?

Outer dimensions, cavity count and layout, interior material (velvet, microfibre or preserved moss), hinge type, magnet strength, lid style (solid, glass-top or sliding), surface finish (oil, matte, satin), timber species, engraved artwork, and the retail packaging and insert cards.

Is there a charge for the prototype?

For a modification of an existing style, usually no. For a genuinely new tool or shape there may be a prototype cost — and we credit it against your first production order.

Are you really the factory, or a trading company?

We are the factory: forty staff, our own workshop in Ouhai District, Wenzhou. Cutting, machining, finishing, engraving and packing all happen on our site. You are welcome to visit — give us a few days' notice and we will show you the floor.

Orders & minimums

What is your minimum order quantity?

10 pieces per style. That is deliberately low — we would rather you test a style on your own shelf than guess. Mix sizes, wood tones and engraving designs freely; they all count toward the same order.

Why is your minimum so much lower than other factories?

Because a 300-piece minimum forces a new customer to gamble, and most walk away instead. We would rather you buy 10, sell them, and come back. Our engraving is laser — there is no plate or tooling to pay off — so a short run costs us very little to set up.

How do I get a quote?

Email us the style, quantity, wood, interior and whether it is engraved. We reply with a price list within one working day. There is no account to open and no form to fill in first.

Do you send a full catalogue?

Yes — dimensions, wood options, interior options and wholesale tiers, sent on request. We do not publish wholesale prices on the site because they depend on volume and specification.

Samples

Is the sample really free?

Yes. Tell us the name, date or logo you want engraved and we make that exact piece and send it. You only pay courier if you want express delivery. We do this because the wood, the finish and the engraving depth are things you have to hold to judge — photographs cannot settle it.

Can the sample carry my own logo?

Yes, and we recommend it. Send vector artwork (AI, EPS or SVG) or a clear high-resolution PNG. Seeing your own mark burned into walnut is the fastest way to decide whether this works for your brand.

How long does a sample take?

Making it is quick. Transit is the variable — express is usually under a week to Europe and North America, economy takes longer. We will tell you which we are using.

Customization

Is there a setup or plate fee for logo engraving?

No. Laser engraving needs no physical plate, so there is no tooling charge for your artwork, however many designs you run.

What artwork do you need?

Vector is best — AI, EPS or SVG, with text converted to outlines. A clean high-resolution PNG on a transparent or white background also works for most marks. We return an engraving proof for your approval before anything goes into production.

Can you engrave a different name on every single piece?

Yes. Send us the name and date per order and we engrave per unit. Several partners run their whole store this way — they hold no stock and we ship each personalised piece direct to their customer.

What can be changed besides the engraving?

Cavity dimensions and slot count, interior material (microfibre, velvet or moss), hinge type, magnet strength, exterior finish (oil, matte or satin) and the outer packaging. If you can describe it, we can usually quote it.

Do you do private label?

Yes. Your brand on the product, the insert card and the outer carton. Nothing identifying us reaches your customer.

Production & shipping

What are your lead times?

Stock styles are quick. Custom engraved runs are quoted per order once we know the quantity and specification — and once we quote a date we hold it. Our capacity of 5,000–6,000 pieces a day exists precisely so one customer's peak does not delay another's order.

Which shipping methods do you offer?

Sea, air and express. DDP is available for most of Europe and North America, which means duty and tax are handled before the goods reach you — no surprise invoice at the border.

Do you drop-ship to my customers?

Yes, blind. Your documents go in the parcel, our pricing and branding do not. This is how several of our partners sell personalised gifts without holding any inventory.

How is the product packed?

Either individually boxed and retail-ready with your insert card, or bulk packed for your own repackaging line. Tell us which and we set it up at our end.

Payment & product

What payment terms do you offer?

T/T to start. Other terms are a conversation we are happy to have once we have shipped together a few times — trust in this direction has to be earned, and we would rather earn it than claim it.

Is it really solid wood?

Yes — solid American black walnut from Ohio and New York, kiln-dried before machining. Not veneer over MDF, and not a stained lighter timber pretending to be walnut. Cut one open if you like; the grain runs all the way through.

Will the wood warp or crack in my market?

Kiln drying before machining is exactly what prevents that. It is why we dry first rather than buying pre-cut blanks — moisture content is the single biggest cause of returns in wooden goods.

How should end customers care for it?

Wipe with a dry or barely damp cloth, keep it out of prolonged direct sun and away from radiators. A drop of furniture oil once a year keeps the grain rich. We can supply this as a printed card in the box if you want it.

What if something arrives damaged or wrong?

Tell us with a photograph and we replace it. We would rather remake a piece than argue about one — the cost of a box is trivial next to the cost of losing a repeat buyer.
